ABOUT tracey
Say Hello to Dr Tracey, our passionate clinic owner and dedicated vet with over 20 years of experience!
Originally from Labrador City, NL, Dr Tracey’s journey took her from the East Coast to California and back to Ottawa, where she’s been practicing for the last 14 years. After earning her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI, she gained invaluable experience in small animal practices and shelters across the U.S. and Canada before coming to Ottawa to raise her family. Now, Dr. Tracey has finally opened her own practice to continue providing exceptional care to pets and their families. Outside the clinic, she’s all about the outdoors—whether it’s hiking, biking, or freezing in a hockey arena on weekends cheering on her son! At home, she shares her life with her husband, their 3 boys, and 2 playful pups—Jeffrey, the Border Terrier, and Sterling, the Lab mix. We’re so lucky to have her leading our team, and we know you’ll love her too!

Meet Chelsie
ABOUT Chelsie
We are excited to introduce Chelsie, our amazing Practice Manager!
Chelsie grew up just outside of Ottawa in the country with her mom, 4 sisters, a cheeky, deliberately hard-of-hearing Wheaten Terrier and a crew of sassy cats. From a young age, she worked with both cats and dogs at a boarding kennel in Kinburn, and her love for animals has only grown since! After graduating as a Vet Assistant from Algonquin College in 2013, Chelsie has been passionately working in the veterinary industry and is always seeking opportunities for continued education. She’s currently working towards her Practice Manager certification — talk about dedication! When she’s not managing our practice, Chelsie is at home with her husband and 3 very spoiled cats (who she insists need to start paying rent), or enjoying her favourite hobbies: reading, going to the cinema, playing board games, video games, and solving puzzles. We are thrilled to have Chelsie’s expertise, energy, and love for animals on board.

ABOUT Kristen
Meet Kristen, one of our amazing Registered Veterinary Technicians!
Kristen's love for animals started early, growing up in the east end of Ottawa with lots of animals around her. Though she initially pursued a career in human medicine and became a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in 2005, her passion for animals eventually called her back. After nearly 13 years in nursing, Kristen made the leap to veterinary care, graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at Algonquin College in 2019. When she’s not caring for your furry friends, Kristen loves spending time with her husband, family & friends, travelling, trying new foods and wines, spinning, and catching up on her favourite shows and books. She lives in Kanata with her husband and two adorable dogs, Turk (a Bulldog mix) and Tank (a French Bulldog). We're lucky to have Kristen on our team—her dedication and passion for animals is undeniable!

Meet Kelsey, one of our amazing Registered Veterinary Technicians!
Kelsey grew up just outside of Ottawa, surrounded by her family, two sisters, and a few dogs. After graduating from Algonquin College in 2016, she became a Registered Veterinary Technician and has been dedicated to animal care ever since! When she's not caring for your pets, Kelsey enjoys spending quality time with her family, diving into her favorite games, and getting lost in a good book. At home, she's kept busy with her fur family of 3 cats and a dog. We're lucky to have Kelsey on our team—her passion for animals and love for her own fur babies shine through in everything she does!
